…I’d work at Google.
Today I was browsing through a popular Australian news site, smh.com.au and saw an article referring to Google Australia and it’s work environment. I have to say, if I was to go out and find a “job” it would be there. A Business Review Weekly (BRW) study found that Google was the best place to work in Australia and apart from my own business, I would definitely agree.
Free Food, Picnic tables, Games Room and Free Food (you can tell where my interests lie!) are a few of the things that they offer to employees. My previous corporate job offered data entry tasks as a way to relax and rejuvenate… shows how backward some of the dinosaurs really are!
You can read the full article here. If your a boss, or planning on being one, I’d recommend you start taking some notes!
I stumbled across this (literally!!) and thought I must share it.
Its an article about the 10 craziest ways people are making money. From renting a relative to selling dirt.. you’ll be amazed.. and it will get you thinking!

Many of you may be aware I’m quite into reading other Blogs and quite often I refer to those that I read. You may also have heard me mention Yaro Starak’s blog Entrepreneurs Journey.com.
Well Yaro just released his Membership Site Masterplan and I have got my hands on it. Put simply, its fantastic. Its very thorough and tells you pretty much everything you want to know about starting a membership site. He has been there and done that, which I believe is the key to being able to provide great value, so naturally this ebook is fantastic value.
What I can’t believe is that it’s a whopping 72 pages of Membership Site gold from the brain of one of the best, yet its absolutely FREE.
Here is a link to Membership Site Mastermind.com where you can get a free copy of this masterplan. I strongly recommend you do, if not for information about starting and growing a membership site, but for understanding more about online marketing and how to use the resources around you to promote your offering.
Wikipedia has 10 different definitions for the term “value”, 12 if you include those definitions on subcategories.
I personally don’t have a specific definition but I know when I am given something that is of great value. The other day I was give a link to Chris Guillebeau’s manifesto 279 Days to Overnight Success. Its a free report on how to make a living out of blogging online. If your interested in making a living online then this would be the definition of value, hands down.
Even if your not interested in making money online, you should still read this as it is fascinating. You can download it by visiting Chris’s site here or directly download it by clicking here.
Hope you enjoy and get as much out of it as I did.
This is a must see, well actually, “listen to” blog post. Its again by Yaro Starak who interviews the net famous Jeremy Shoemaker (aka Shoemoney) and posts it as a podcast.
An absolute must for anyone interested in entrepreneurship or making money online. Its long (over an hour) so make sure you have a bit of quite time so you get the most out of it!

I’m a big advocate of writing unique good quality content. However after reading through a few blogs I came across an article which I thought was excellent. It’s Brilliantly written and well executed. I am also a big advocate of giving credit where credit is due. So I’m thinking I might start a “Article of my week” section where I will post a link to my favorite article that I have stumbled across over the course of a weeks blog surfing.
The article I was referring is by Yaro Starak of Entrepreneurs-journey.com. It’s all about living in the now and the process of letting go of your past and the burdens the furture holds. Click here to read the article, its fantastic. Enjoy…
