Bolded text definitely does help.. puts authority on the bolded keywords and also the long tail keywords. This is most effective in the first few paragraphs.. so not something to do the whole way through the site or post.. just at the beginning after h1 heading.

I see you mention bolded text as part of your seo — I wasn’t aware that this had anything to do with it. Is it just the keywords you’re bolding, and if so, does extraneous bolding have a negative impact?

Another thing you can do is use your keywords in h2 tags within the post, and also deeplink posts within your website. Dunno if you’re doing that already, like I said I just got here. X)

That’s a great idea. I think the problem with that is this theme may not support it for some odd reason (very frustrating) but I’ll have it another go and play with the code a bit if I need to.

That’s a good point you mentioned about encouraging comments as people now can simply read my main page without being asked if they would like to comment. I notice you do this on yours as it seems to have been effective for you.

You’ve got a really nice blog and it stand out. Just a few suggestions, perhaps use the tab for your front page to reduce the size of your posts so people actually click through to leave comments at the end.

Otherwise people will read your post and not leave any feedback.
